Abstract

The article presents thoughts on Erkin Samandar, who made a
great contribution to the development of 20th-century Uzbek literature,
and his novel “The shore that lost the river”. The expression of the concept
of man and nature in the plot of the novel is analyzed, and personal
comments are made. In elements such as exposition, node, development
of events, culmination, resolution, the relationship between nature and
man is harmonious, and it is explained with examples that in the 70s-80s
not only ecology, but also the spiritual ecology of humanity was disrupted.
The relationship between the main characters in the work, Ganja, Aminov,
Buva, and the Amudarya, which was trampled by humanity, is shown.
Erkin Samandar seeks to penetrate the deep roots of the problem of man
and nature. It is shown through several analyses that he achieved this
mainly through an artistic analysis of the relationship between people and
one of the four elements, water (Amudarya water), in the team of horses
