Abstract

The article examines the artistic concept of the creator in relation
to its general classification, the notion of the creative self, individuality
and the ideological and artistic characteristics of literary works. A number
of features are identified that characterize the phenomenon of the writer,
define the creative concept and reveal common elements inherent in
all of the author’s works, which together shape the writer’s creative “I”.
Among the most significant of these features are the ideological unity that
permeates the author’s oeuvre as a unifying principle, the unity of time and
space in artistic creativity, the coherence of the system of images, and the
formation of a renewed mode of expression.
On this basis, the idea of a literary work is regarded as one of the
key categories determining the creative concept and is interpreted as
a means of integrating various artistic elements – such as the author’s
creative intention, the purpose of the work, the thematic scope, the system
of images, the unity of form and content, and the mode of expression – into
a single conceptual center. The presence of a unity of time and space (the
chronotope), which constitutes the core of artistic creation, is revealed
with reference to M. Bakhtin’s work Forms of Time and Chronotope in the
Novel.
The system of images is identified as the primary element
through which the creative concept is realized. The author embeds the
idea of the work, the chronotope, and the manner of expression into the
characters and images portrayed in the text. One of the defining features
of the creative concept is thus the formation of a new unity of expression,
grounded in the principle that the renewal of expression is intrinsically
linked to the renewal of the creative concept itself.
