This article examines the syntax of the Azerbaijani language from a
linguacultural perspective, emphasizing its role not only as a grammatical
structure but also as a vehicle for national cultural codes, historical
traditions, and the logical and emotional patterns of thought of the people Syntax is presented here as a key tool for expressing both individual and
collective identity, through which a unique linguistic way of thinking
is formed. The work provides a detailed analysis of both historical and
modern syntactic constructions, identifying their influence on spelling,
speech rhythm, and intonation, and exploring their functions in conveying
the cultural context and emotional coloring of the text. Particular attention
is paid to syntax in classical literature, which records established forms
of expression and aesthetic norms, and in modern literature, which
observes the dynamic development of syntactic models in accordance
with changing social and cultural conditions. Furthermore, key theoretical
approaches to the study of syntax are considered: classical, functional,
cognitive, and semiotic, allowing us to evaluate language as a system of
signs carrying both semantic and cultural meaning. This comprehensive
approach demonstrates that syntax in the Azerbaijani language is not just
a communication tool, but also an important factor in preserving cultural
heritage and national identity.
